Loft ladder REI 45 comfort - Made to measure

DOLLE REI 45 Comfort is our made to measure is a fire-resistant loft ladder complete with an anthracite grey steel ladder. REI is a new European classification. The European fire requirements are described based on the ceiling staircase R (resistance) - Resistance under fire, E (integrity) - Ability to keep out flames and gases and I (insulation) - Ability to keep out heat. After the fire class, the period of time that the loft ladder can withstand fire is indicated, DOLLE REI 45 means that the loft ladder is fire-resistant for 45 minutes.

. The trapdoor is insulated with 50 mm Rockwool plate, which is made of non-combustible, moisture and water-repellent Rockwool stone wool and still has a good U-value: 0.96 W/m2*K. The trapdoor has an attractive finish as the hinges are concealed, making it easier to paint. The trapdoor is primed white complete with lock. The loft ladder can also be prepared for a cylinder lock, which can be purchased on this page as an extra. It is not possible to add extension links to Made-to-measure loft ladders

DOLLE REI 45 Comfort loft ladder comes with white-painted gratings that are cut to size and ready to install. The Fire-resistant loft ladder can be manufactured in any size hole size length from 120 to 160 cm. The width of the ceiling opening can be manufactured from 60 to 80 cm. However, the dimensions (L x W) of the ceiling casing cannot exceed 1.13 m2.

Casing height up to 80 cm.

It is possible to design the Made-to-measure loft ladder with a casing height of up to 80 cm. Casing heights over 36 cm are fitted with an extra tread in the casing. If the casing height is above 65 cm, 2 treads must be installed to comply with building regulations. The casing is white primed plywood.

The difference between ceiling opening and casing dimensions?

We use the term " ceiling opening ". The term refers to the size of the opening in the ceiling where the loft ladder will be placed. The casing dimensions are the length and width of the casing of the loft ladder. Our loft ladders are produced 2.5 cm smaller than the hole size you order, this ensures that there is a gap for the loft ladder to be installed.
